AIR IS COOL...

UH- HUH,

UH-HUH

Air conditioning is more than just a way to escape summer heat; in today’s vehicles it’s literally a climate-control system that offers a lot more than simply cold air.

In fact, many drivers leave their system switched on all the time and use the temperature-control lever or dial to keep the interior comfortable.

What’s the benefit?

The air-conditioning system removes moisture from the air as it works.

On hot, days, this is part of the relief you feel when you climb into your car and crank up the air-conditioning system.

But, even if it’s a cool, rainy day and you’ve got warm air blowing out of the vents, the system is still dehumidifying the air, providing a drier, more comfortable environment.

Even more important, the dehumidified air also helps ensure good visibility by preventing fogged-up windows.

If you're experiencing any problems with your air-conditioning you should contact an ASE certified technician as soon as possible to service your air-conditioning.

At Marathon Auto Air & Electric we are qualified and certified to perform all air-conditioning services and repairs, including conversion to the new environmentally safe coolants.  Please call for an appointment for an evaluation and estimate.

For your convenience we have placed links on this page to view some frequently asked questions and their answers involving your air-conditioning system.
